Genesis Management, a newly-formed consulting organization focused on supply chain, total cost optimization and enterprise management services was launched Sept. 11 by John P. Campi.
Campi, who will serve as managing partner of Genesis, was most recently the executive vice president and chief procurement officer for Chrysler, a role in which he was responsible for all worldwide purchasing and supplier relations. Previously he held supply chain and global procurement executive positions with a such companies as The Home Depot, DuPont and GE Power Energy.
Genesis Management was conceived to deliver hands-on, executive level experience to solve complex supply chain, operational and financial issues, many of which are global in scope, according to the announcement. "I know from personal experience in a variety of industries, that rapid internal and external change can only be achieved through the experience, insight and, importantly, the hands-on navigation by seasoned executives," says Campi. "This is our key differentiator and how we deliver performance improvement to clients."
Genesis Management's strategic focus will be on manufacturing, distribution and service companies, across a breadth of industries including automotive, aerospace, business and financial services as well as consumer-facing businesses like retail and banking.
