Oracle Corp. has made available version 9.1 of its PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials and Supply Chain Management applications. The latest release was developed with feedback from more than 150 customers, Oracle said. It contains enhancements in the major product areas of financials, supplier relationship management, enterprise service automation, supply chain and asset lifecycle management. Financials allows companies to improve the period close, maximizing cash and reducing liabilities. Supplier Relationship Management expands procurement control by enforcing procurement policies, engaging internal staff and extending supplier-management programs. Supply Chain Management optimizes processes across the supply chain, through the enablement of more efficient order capture and returns, acceleration of fulfillment and logistics execution, and improvement of operational coordination. Enterprise Service Automation supports full project lifecycle management with tools to enforce fiscal discipline. Asset Lifecycle Management optimizes capital infrastructure decisions and offers new analytics and configurable alerts to help reduce equipment downtime.
