Crowley Maritime Corp. has added a third, fixed-day sailing from Port Everglades, Fla., to Santo Tomas, Guatemala and Puerto Cortez, Honduras. The M/V Delphinus sails every Saturday from Port Everglades, providing service to Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala via the two Central American ports. Crowley said the move will give shippers to the region additional flexibility. The carrier has made a number of enhancements to its service in recent months. In November, it added 400 refrigerated containers to accommodate the needs of local produce farmers gearing up for the peak winter season. Crowley's reefer fleet now totals 3,000 containers.
