Wildeck Inc., a manufacturer of material-handling equipment, has introduced the V-Lift, a hydraulically operated, cantilever material lift. According to the company, the new product is ideal for "green" building designs and crowded manufacturing facilities undergoing a transition to Lean operations. It is designed to get more productivity out of a limited amount of space. Designed to meet the ANSI/ASME B20l.1 safety standard for conveyors, the V-Lift includes guide columns constructed of six-inch-wide flange structural steel, and a hydraulic ram with dual pistons. Its single-cylinder hydraulic system prevents twisting during operation, while eliminating all moving hoses, cables and chains. Fewer components mean easier installation, reduced maintenance and longer service life, Wildeck said. The company is also offering a variety of carriage options, ramps and controls to meet additional customer requirements. Wildeck's product line includes mezzanines, vertical lifts and safety guarding products.
