Interos Solutions Inc., a supply-chain consultancy, has shifted its emphasis to focus exclusively on risk management. The firm now aims to help civilian, military and intelligence agencies to avoid, mitigate and manage supply-chain risks. Company president Jennifer Bisceglie noted that the move comes on the heels of a new emphasis by the federal government on the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI). Among its goals is the development of "a multi-pronged approach for global supply-chain risk management." Specific areas of focus by Interos will include financial flows, physical inventory, people and systems integration. Interos recently launched a new, streamlined website. It has also acquired exclusive field use rights to RiskNav, risk-management software developed by Sycamore.US, Inc.
