Logistics Management Solutions, a non-asset-based third-party logistics provider, has been selected to provide transportation optimization and management services to Presence From Innovation, a designer and manufacturer of merchandising equipment.
LMS will direct PFI's less-than-truckload and truckload shipments moving among North American shipping points, most of which are retail outlets. LMS will use its TOTAL transportation management system to build and execute optimized ship plans using PFI's raw order data. Once freight is dispatched, authorized users can access TOTAL to obtain online shipment status and performance reports.
PFI designs and manufactures a full line of retail equipment, including free-standing plastic and wire racks, ice coolers, shelf organizers and POP signage systems. A majority of PFI freight comprises LTL shipments that can be consolidated into less costly truckload shipments.
