Zenith Global Logistics, a provider of supply-chain services to home furnishings shippers, has expanded its warehousing and distribution capabilities in Asia with the opening of a humidity-controlled warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The facility, which ensures the maintenance of proper moisture levels for wood products, has a capacity of 226,000 square feet. Zenith customers can mix products from the location and ship in full, split or less-than-container loads. They can purchase as little as a single item and pay one through price, FOB Ho Chi Minh City, according to Zenith vice president Steve Wolfe. The Vietnam warehouse follows a series of expansions for the company, including a partnership with CV International and Hecny Group for global supply-chain services such as freight forwarding, air freight, origin booking and customs clearance; and a corporate alliance with Hong Kong-based IDS Group, a provider of integrated distribution services. Zenith also recently formed a partnership in Europe with Hamburg, Germany-based Theodor Kroeger GmbH-International Distributions and Logistics, a major furniture distribution company.
