The American Association of Railroad Superintendents has launched a Career Center for industry job seekers and employers. AARS offers education and networking for railroad operations and management. The group targets Class 1, regional and short lines; passenger railroads and representatives of government and regulatory agencies. The new Career Center gives employers access to a large number of highly qualified applicants, along with the ability to announce job openings to audiences of qualified candidates. Job seekers can post resumes to be viewed by thousands of employers. Both groups can access the service by visiting www.railroadsuperintendents.org and clicking on the Career Center tab. Job seekers can search by keyword, discipline or country. Employers can search applicant profiles, create a profile agent which locates qualified candidates automatically, and post job opportunities.
