RFID Journal will host a free webinar for apparel and footwear retailers and suppliers that will address some common misperceptions regarding the cost and complexity involved in deploying a radio frequency identification system in an apparel or footwear store.
The webinar, entitled "RFID Made Easy for Apparel Retailers: Cost-Effective Ways to Deploy RFID in Soft Goods Stores," will be held on June 23 at 2 p.m. EDT, and will explain strategies for integrating RFID technology with existing back-end inventory- and store-management systems. It will also outline best practices for deploying RFID software applications for managing store inventory; software options, such as hosted solutions; and cost-effective ways to place RFID tags on existing inventory.
