KOM International Inc., a supply-chain engineering and consulting firm, has opened a West Coast location in Vancouver, B.C. The office is one of three in Canada; others are in Toronto, Ont. and Montreal, Que. Heading up the West Coast operation is Hector Orozco, a longtime practitioner and consultant in logistics, warehousing and distribution. Among his prior responsibilities was leading the logistics team in the Mexican subsidiary of a global pharmaceutical company. KOM aids clients in the development of warehousing, distribution network, logistics, transportation and supply-chain operations.
