EBE Technologies Inc. has added new workflow capabilities to its Web-based CSA 2010 carrier and driver dashboard. The company is a provider of document and content management, workflow and business process automation services to the transportation industry. Launched earlier this year, the CSA 2010 dashboard now includes carrier percentiles, along with the ability to identify and correct poor driver behavior and reward positive actions in real time. The vendor has also added trending charts and the ability to assess total points against CSA 2010 "capped points," in order to focus users on driver behavior. The tool monitors and retrieves carrier and driver-related inspection data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Compass portal daily, then uses the data to trigger alerts to management and execute automated tasks and activities based on the measured behavior. The new version of the dashboard provides visibility to percentile rankings based on the carrier's industry peer group. Through the collection of publicly available information of all inspection and crash history data, EBE can calculate a measurement and generate a percentile for all carriers within each peer group. Workflow options, triggered by BASIC percentile rankings, inspections, violations or frequency of incidents, include the assignment of training, execution of warning letters, scheduling of driver management reviews and suspension or termination of drivers. Assigned tasks are monitored until the driver or manager has completed the required activities and met safety standards and business rules, EBE said.
