Belgian container service provider FCLCARRIER is bringing its "blend of niche liner services and low-cost pricing" to U.S.-based and Canadian exporters.
Breakbulk, containerized, project cargo, roll-on/roll-off and specialized equipment options are among the services it offers. Among the destinations it serves are all of Central Asia, Mongolia, the Russian Far East and China. It even serves North Korea.
"Our service in Europe has been very popular with shippers because we move cargo to niche locations-that most carriers do not service at all-at very competitive rates," says Anton Plompen, FCLCARRIER's chief executive officer. "In fact, we are the low-cost leader, completely independent of the conferences, so we offer a truly unique shipping option for freight forwarders and shippers alike.
