Ingenico, a French electronic payment systems, has tasked Kuehne & Nagel with management of all shipments from suppliers to all of its subsidiaries in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Replacing a variety of freight forwarders, Kuehne & Nagel will offer multimodal (air, sea and road) transportation services as well as customs clearance to cover the logistics needs of Ingenico from door to door.
Considering the nature and high sensitivity of the items, the majority of shipments will be carried out by air-more than 1,000 tons a year.
The agreement also includes management of a warehousing operation in a multi-user facility in Rouen, France, where items are stored before dispatch by road throughout western Europe.
