BAX Global Inc. has opened a large-scale logistics facility in Chicago, near O'Hare International Airport-the 14-acre BAX Chicago World Freight Campus.
Facilities total more than 228,000 square feet, and are U.S. Customs-bonded, compliant with Technology Asset Protection Association standards, and Container Freight Station-bonded.
"The World Freight Campus is one of the largest for BAX in the United States and demonstrates BAX's commitment to offering state-of-the-art facilities to handle our customers freight quickly and efficiently without risk of damage," says Bernhard Kleine, Chicago area director for BAX Global. The campus has 84 truck bays and features a 100-foot clear span for domestic cross-dock activities.
