Zenith Freight Lines is expanding its fleet of trucks, with the addition of 15 Freightliner Cascadia raised-roof sleeper cabs. According to the carrier, the move is in response to growing customer demand for expedited shipments from California to ports and hubs throughout the U.S. Zenith offers expedited, coast-to-coast service in 48 hours. Zenith Global Logistics provides warehousing, overseas transportation and domestic distribution for home furnishings shippers in North America and the Caribbean. It currently operates more than 4.5m square feet of warehouse space domestically, with 11 locations in Southern California, Texas, North Carolina and Virginia. The latest fleet expansion is Zenith's second in the last year; in May is added a dozen of the Freightliner Cascadias.
