Kewill PLC has released Kewill Reverse Logistics 2.0, software providing for end-to-end reverse logistics management for high-technology manufacturers. Offered under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, the tool now includes execution capabilities covering management of call centers, the warehouse, shop floor, pickup and drop-off, and transportation, all on a single platform. It provides for monitoring of global processes, inventory visibility and reporting, and customer service metrics. A decision engine integrates data, with configurable process flows, eliminating manual steps. In another recent company announcement, Kewill is teaming with UPS to provide a single integrated platform supporting UPS package and freight services. Customers can select from UPS ground, express and less-than-truckload freight options. As part of the program, Kewill is offering a UPS Solution Kit, including Kewill-developed software modules for UPS shipping and professional services for shippers using either Kewill Clippership or Flagship. According to the vendor, the kit is suitable for any customer that ships a mix of UPS package, hundredweight and freight.
