CEVA Logistics, a third-party logistics services provider, is now offering an expedited surface freight service between the U.S. Gulf Coast and Alberta, Canada, designed for the company's energy customers. Dubbed Alberta Express, the new international service offers freight-forwarding and related systems, with an eye toward boosting the efficiency of shipments across borders. CEVA currently offers an international freight service from Mexico to Ontario, moving more than half a million kilos per month, according to the company. Specifications for the Alberta Express service were based on feedback from major energy companies, CEVA said. The vendor offers a broad range of supply-chain services, with facilities in more than 170 countries and more than 46,000 employees.
