Evergreen Line is preparing to launch its new JVT service in the intra-Asia container trade. To be operated independently by Evergreen, the service is due to commence in mid-September, with the departure from Nagoya of the Ever Apex. It will deploy four containerships, each with a capacity of 900 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). Ports of call in the 28-day rotation will be Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei and Nagoya.
