Time:matters, a provider of courier, same-day and emergency logistics services, is now cooperating with Austrian Airlines, Austria's largest carrier and a member of the Star Alliance. The deal allows time:matters to boost its route frequency by some 1,300 connections per week. It increases the number of direct flights from Vienna, the hub of Austrian Airlines, to more than 50, while eliminating transit flights via Frankfurt or Munich. A direct flight from Vienna to Warsaw, for example, saves the customer two hours and 50 minutes; direct from Vienna to Barcelona shaves two hours and 25 minutes off the previous transit time. Time:matters already has cooperation agreements with Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Adria Airlines, Swiss World Cargo and Condor, among others. Its network consists of more than 500 stations in 90 countries, and more than 3,000 connections per day. Time:matters is part of the Lufthansa Group.
