AirBridgeCargo Airlines has added a fourth destination in central China to its services linking the country with Europe. The carrier has introduced a twice-weekly B747-400 freighter from Zhengzhou International Airport in Henan Province. The flights depart every Wednesday and Saturday for ABC's hub in Moscow, then continue on to Frankfurt, Germany. The new service arises from the strategic cooperation between ABC and Zhengzhou International Airport. As a result of a policy by China's central government to accelerate the development of inland regions, Henan is attracting new investment from major export-oriented manufacturers, ABC said. The airline's other China destinations are Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The carrier said it intends to boost frequencies from Zhengzhou to four B747 flights per week by the end of the year.
