Next Level Security Systems has made available a new unified, networked security platform through Direct Source, a nationwide technology provider. The NLSS Gateway allows retailers to benefit from the correlation of security data from multiple subsystems, including video management, access control, intrusion detection and video analytics, all integrated into a single appliance. The NLSS Gateway offers retailers a browser-based system which gives users a comprehensive view of security operations and business processes. It can scale from a standalone unit to a full-blown system with features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices. The system also offers remote management capabilities, which allow retail loss-prevention personnel to monitor operations from anywhere, via a Web browser or mobile device. The partnership with Direct Source allows NLSS to tap into a network of industry specialists focused on tier-one verticals, the company said.
