Time:matters, a unit of the Lufthansa Group offering expedited logistics services, has expanded its network of stations to include two additional European locations. As of Feb. 1, the company has incorporated the airports in Klagenfurt, Austria and Belgrade, Serbia into its service offering. According to time:matters, customers will benefit from the expansion due to quicker and more frequent connections by road, air and rail, both within and outside Europe. The addition of air-cargo services from Klagenfurt allows time:matters to serve the Austrian region of Carinthia. Moreover, it means that the company is now represented in four key hubs within the country: Vienna, Graz, Linz and Klagenfurt. Addition of the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade is of particular benefit to the automotive industry, which is strongly represented in Serbia, time:matters said. The transport time between Serbia and several cities in central and western Europe, such as Frankfurt, Vienna and Munich, can be reduced to just a few hours, according to the company. Time:matters has more than 400 stations in 90 countries, offering more than 3,000 connections per day.
