Lufthansa Cargo AG is adding flights to China as part of its summer flight schedule. Beginning March 25, 2012, the airline's timetable will include the Chinese metropolis of Chongqing, served by four flights weekly.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines has inaugurated a cargo link between Northern Europe and China. The carrier has introduced weekly Boeing 747-300 freighter service, focusing primarily on the movement of engineering and automotive parts from the industrial region of North Germany to the Far East.

Maersk Line has created an intermodal service for import cargoes moving from Asia to five key markets in North America, in partnership with the BNSF Railway. The new Flagship service will deliver to Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Memphis and northwest Ohio.
