The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is tired of waiting for regulation and is turning up the heat on the lithium battery issue. Echoing the mid-year reports from several other aviation groups, Airports Council International (ACI) said air cargo tonnage was flat for the first five months of 2016, rising just 0.6 percent in May, year-over-year, and 0.2 percent, y-o-y, over the period of January to May 2015.
