Prozo will invest over Rs 50 crore ($6.11 million) annually over the next three years to expand its warehousing presence in India's Tier-II cities.

The organization said that it will not be able to begin manufacturing chips in 2024, as originally planned, due to a skilled worker shortage.

If Germany approves the expansion plans, Tesla’s gigafactory will be able to increase its battery storage capacity to 100 gigawatt hours per year from 50 gigawatt hours currently.

The new location offers direct planeside recovery, immediate unit load device (ULD) transfers to the facility and reduced processing fees.

Tata will invest over £4 billion ($5.15 billion) to build the battery cell gigafactory factory, which is expected to create up to 4,000 jobs.

The factory will reportedly be able to produce 500,000 electric vehicles annually that have a starting price of Rs 20 lakh (about $24,360).

More than $855 million of the investment will go toward constructing offshore wind turbine production facilities, which will be completed by 2027.

Foxconn said that the decision was a “mutual agreement,” but that it is still “confident” about the country’s semiconductor hopes.

The 13,000 square meter center located in Dubai Industrial City is the United Arab Emirates' first Cold Store facility.

A planned $200 million factory will reportedly be finished by January 2025 while construction on a different $46 million plant will be completed by October 2024.
