Goodman, the integrated property company that owns, develops and manages logistics space globally, has commenced the construction of a new logistics centre for Daimler AG in Bremen.

Retailers will drive demand for up to 270 million square feet of warehouse space in Europe, including 33 million square feet for e-commerce, according to a report by Jones Lang LaSalle.

DHL Supply Chain will invest $52.5m over the next few years to further strengthen its position in Indonesia. By 2015, the company plans to increase its transportation fleet by over 100 percent up from its fleet of 370 vehicles at present and grow its staff strength by over 70 percent from its current base of some 2,250 employees.
