What seemed like a sure deal may not be a slam-dunk after all. Regulators in the European Union have said they may consider demanding concessions, including the selling off of some assets, with regard to the proposed takeover of TNT Express by FedEx Corp.
Denmark's government laid out details of a plan to build a tunnel connecting the Nordic region to Germany and cutting traveling time, saying in a bill that it will cost 65bn Danish crowns ($10bn) and be in use by 2024.

The £800m Airport City scheme delivered a major boost as logistics firm DHL was unveiled as the first firm to be based there. The company will house 150 staff at a purpose-built site set to form part of a World Logistics Hub at the development.
CEVA Logistics, a supply chain company, announced the official opening of the City of Pharma in Italy. The hub, which covers an area of 20,000 square meters, is strategically located in Stradella, in the province of Pavia and is fully dedicated to the warehousing and handling of products destined for healthcare distribution channels.
