CombineNet Inc. has released version 4.5 of its Advanced Sourcing Application Platform (ASAP). Available under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, the tool allows users to capture more spend under management and realize savings across all corporate spend categories, the vendor claimed. Enhancements in the latest version include Expressive Feedback, which boosts collaboration between buyers and suppliers to help reduce the cost of goods and services. Buyers can employ a range of options, such as Bid Feedback and Supplier Feedback, to guide suppliers during the bidding cycle. Another new feature, Scenario Analysis Configuration, allows sourcing managers to create custom analysis rules to evaluate items, suppliers and bid attributes. The rules are developed using ASAP's wizard-driven configuration, leading to the creation of various "what-if" scenarios.
