GHX, a vendor of software and services for the healthcare industry, has added features to its global trading exchange and two software products. The company announced enhancements to OnDemand AP, an accounts payable automation service, and Procurement Suite, a spend-management application. It has also made improvements to GHX Exchange Services, to simplify and speed up connections between manufacturers and distributors and their customers. GHX has introduced a four-step, modular approach to OnDemand AP, which streamlines invoice receipt, document image and data capture, purchase-order matching, exception management and workflow. The feature called OnDemand AP Smart Steps allows customers to move at their own pace while meeting current business needs. The Web-based Procurement Suite for managing non-file and off-contract procurement has been given enhanced cascading search functionality. Clinicians can perform Google-like searches among millions of catalog items, the vendor said.
