Silvon Software Inc., a provider of applications for business intelligence, has released Stratum 6.0, the latest version of its suite for performance analysis and reporting. The offering is aimed at mid-market manufacturers and wholesale distributors, specifically in the areas of food, consumer packaged goods, publishing and packaging. The new application supports Windows Server 2008 R2 as well as IBM's newest IBM i servers. Now supporting Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8, Stratum 6.0 incorporates several new user-interface enhancements, including the ability to define specific time ranges for analysis "on the fly." Users can conduct their own ad hoc analyses, drawing on a streamlined process for creating analytical views. The software supports additional information-delivery options through integration with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Reporting Services and Microsoft Sharepoint portal services. Stratum integrates seamlessly with existing systems, including enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, sales and operations management and point of sale, the vendor said.
