Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. has opened a new full-service facility in Temecula, Calif. The 16,000-square-foot building, on three acres, is designed to serve large customers in the food service, construction and hospital supply industries, according to Rick Pytlik, area vice president for the Southwest Region. It includes three service bays and a wash bay, along with wireless technology which allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software. Penske Truck Leasing is a joint venture of Penske Corp., Penske Automotive Group and General Electric. It operates more than 200,000 vehicles, serving customers from more than 1,000 locations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Offerings include full-service truck leasing, contract maintenance, commercial and consumer truck rentals, used truck sales, transportation and warehouse management, and supply-chain management.
