Pronto Software has developed an application that integrates enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business intelligence (BI) analytics. Dubbed PRONTO-Xi Dimensions, the tool was designed to help mid-market users manage large volumes of data, access real-time analytics, understand key business drivers and influence outcomes, the vendor said. The software embeds the IBM Cognos BI suite. Features of the Pronto application include a new multi-tier tax engine, multi-factory costing, multi-currency point of sale for retailers located in areas frequented by international travelers, shipment processing for the real-time tracking of consolidated shipments, and a French language pack to service the French, African and Canadian markets. PRONTO-Xi Dimensions is now available in the U.S. and Canada through Pronto's value-added resellers, Business Computer Technologies Inc., PSA Inc., SHS and Xonitek Corp.
