The Intermodal Association of North America has created the IANA Intermodal Marketplace, an online buyer's guide for intermodal-related products and services. Potential buyers can search within the parameters of the intermodal freight-transportation industry either through a keyword-driven or category-specific search using a company name, phrase or geographic location. A downloadable search tool allows users to access the guide directly from their desktops. Industry service providers get a means of presenting their products and services directly to their target markets. Featured companies can further connect with users through an enhanced listing which features contact information, an e-mail option, location and links to the company's website and social media pages. Service providers and suppliers also have the option to highlight specific offerings in the product spotlight section of the marketplace, where users can access information about new products, innovations and special offers.
