DB Schenker Logistics has formed its own national company in Belarus. Previously, the company had been represented there by a Russian national company with an office in Minsk. The new subsidiary, with locations in Minsk and at Minsk Airport, connects Belarus with DB Schenker's global network of 2,000 locations in more than 130 countries. The new company is offering a full range of logistics services, including the import and export of partial and full-load freight shipments bound to and from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, along with air and ocean freight services and the handling of all customs formalities. The company is expected to strengthen DB Schenker's network in Eastern Europe, according to Karl Nutzinger, member of the management board of Schenker AG responsible for land transportation.
