The company has leased additional capacity in a new multi-customer warehouse in that country. The facility is located in Belogorodka, seven kilometers from the Kiev ring road, in the Amtel terminal. The logistics center covers 45,000 square meters, with a ceiling height of 12 meters, anti-dust flooring and cross-docking system. Parking is available for up to 60 trucks and 120 cars. Initially, DB Schenker will use 3,100 square meters, expanding in line with growing customer demand in such industries as consumer goods, electronics, chemicals and automotive. An additional 600 square meters will be used for office space. DP Schenker is the national company of DB Schenker in Ukraine, offering international land transportation, domestic distribution, air and ocean freight, contract logistics, brokerage and bonded warehousing.
