Honeywell International has augmented its family of Voyager barcode scanners with the 1250g single-line laser scanner. The ergonomic unit is suitable for handheld, scan-intensive environments such as retail, government, manufacturing and commercial services. It features a multi-interface design which incorporates automatic interface detection. The scanner offers extended depth of field, allowing workers to access items that are just out of reach, such as products on the bottom of a shopping cart or on top of an overhead storage rack. The device is compatible with Honeywell's Remote MasterMind for Scanning software, allowing customers to manage and configure all scanners within a network from a centralized location. The Voyager 1250g will begin shipping in August.
