Smart Track Logistics Inc. has launched its Integrated Asset Tracker. The new product provides users with status, management and visibility of freight and assets. It is built on Smart Track's On Demand Freight Flow platform. Freight status and asset updates can be accessed through a number of technologies, including global positioning system, cellular, radio frequency identification, mobile device or the Smart Track user interface. The software extends seamlessly between supply-chain systems and configures to meet the needs of multiple industries, the vendor claimed. The product is intended to streamline the flow of goods between various modes, nodes and partners of a company's transportation lifecycle. The data provides visibility to the freight's location, estimated time of arrival, status and condition. Information can be shared at any level of detail within the customer's organization, as well as with clients, vendors, carriers and service providers. Asset usage can be analyzed by facility, region or company.
