Management Dynamics Inc., a provider of global trade-management software, has released version 1.2 of Export On-Demand, the company's export-compliance application for small and medium-sized exporters. The update allows for enhanced compliance screening and management of export licenses. A new global license determination feature gives users access to regulatory control content for more than 100 countries. They can account for license usage by quantity and dollar value, and choose whether to auto-apply a license based on rules that check its validity. Other new features include global embargo confirmation, providing screening options for specific compliance policies by country; a warning word dictionary, with keywords that will immediately cause a transaction to be put on hold pending further investigation, and retroactive list screening, allowing users to screen all trade partners at once, or just new and updated partners. Export On-Demand 1.2 is available in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
