Centric Software Inc., a provider of product life cycle management software for apparel, luxury goods and consumer goods companies, has created a photo-capture and markup app for the iPhone. Dubbed Capture It for iPhone, the new tool will allow Centric 8 users to record ideas as they occur in the global marketplace, beyond the traditional boundaries of the office, the vendor said. The app lets users take and upload photos directly to the Centric 8 PLM system, rendering them instantly available for review, markup and analysis. Key uses include the concept, trend board and storyboard process; sample review, and buying. Capture It for iPhone is the second app to be added to Centric's PLM system for the fashion and apparel industry in recent months, following the introduction of Centric 8 Collection Book for Fashion for the iPad.
