RPost has released an electronic-signature upgrade which builds upon its messaging platform for registered e-mail services. Users can send for signatures and access electronic signing capabilities from mobile devices, browser-based e-mail, desktop e-mail software and customer-relationship management services. The latest version includes a comprehensive audit trail, providing a record of all message content when sent, received and signed off, and confirmed by timestamps. RPost also provides a registered receipt, which encapsulates the signoff record with internet forensic evidence associated with the signoff event, in a form that can later be authenticated. Senders can sign documents or send contracts for signature directly from their existing e-mail programs, or in automated mode from any e-mail-sending or Web application. The tool includes real-time reporting as a standalone display, or can be formatted to parse into sender-management systems.
