RPost has released its E-Contracting Solution for electronic commerce. The vendor is a provider of e-mail proof, privacy and electronic signature technology. The new product combines elements of RPost's upgraded eSignOff for electronic signatures, and Registered Email for legal delivery proof. It permits the sender to attach any contract to an e-mail. The recipient can review the contract without the need to download any software, or log in to another website. It can then, with a few mouse-strokes, handwrite a mouse-scripted signature, which becomes electronically sealed to the contract. RPost then provides both parties with the signed-off contract, admissible in court, including proof of signature, content and official time and date stamp, and underlying internet forensics. The technology eliminates the need for the back-and-forth exchange of hard copies as backup, RPost said. The vendor is including in the eSignOff service, at no extra cost, its core Registered Email service.
