Zepol Corp., a provider of U.S. trade intelligence, has released its U.S. Import Compliance Guidebook. The publication contains detailed information about U.S. trade-compliance statistics, audit triggers and potential penalties, among other subjects. It is geared toward any U.S. importer or service provider that assists importers, according to Zepol chief executive officer and president Paul Rasmussen. The report was created in connection with ComplianceMonitor, Zepol's tool for tracking and alerting users about critical U.S. import compliance changes, such as duty and tariff rates, U.S. Customs and Border Protection rulings and anti-dumping actions. Other offerings from Zepol include TradeIQ, a U.S. Customs import bill of lading database on competitors, suppliers, prospects and the products that they use, market or transport, and TradeView, which provides U.S. Census data to help users visualize the import and export market.
