Qualcomm Inc. has integrated its Circle of Service Workflow application with McLeod Software's LoadMaster Enterprise system for managing truck-dispatch operations. Qualcomm is a provider of integrated wireless systems, applications and services to transportation and logistics companies. McLeod sells software to the trucking industry. According to Qualcomm, incorporation of the Circle of Service Workflow app into the LoadMaster suite will help drivers and dispatchers to manage load assignments, automated event triggers and pre-filled work process forms. Circle of Service Workflow captures and delivers key information; its features include a list of scheduled stops and automated arrival and departure detection, complete with latitude and longitude. Just-in-time prompts and exception notifications help drivers to reduce their dependence on back-office staff for critical information. LoadMaster is a fully integrated system equipped with complete accounting software, designed specifically for the transportation business.
