Four Soft Limited, a provider of software for the logistics and transportation industry, has entered into a partnership with PayCargo, LLC, a vendor of electronic invoicing and settlement systems for the shipping industry. Under the deal, PayCargo will integrate its product with that of Four Soft, allowing its customers to make accounts receivable available to their clients online. The PayCargo plug-in enables users to send invoice alerts to clients, and offers a method to pay invoices online. The integration also permits users to upload accounts payable directly from Four Soft to PayCargo, and electronically remit payment to vendors. PayCargo lets shippers, carriers and freight brokers of all sizes settle accounts. It also helps to prevent demurrage and storage charges that can result from inefficient payment processes. Carriers can be paid immediately for receivables, and shippers can deploy multiple payment options, the companies said.
