International Business Systems, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply-chain management software, has added cloud and mobile offerings to its flagship IBS Enterprise Suite. IBS Cloud Solutions are offered under a subscription-based license model which draws on a shared, virtualized infrastructure. They include modules for distribution intelligence, distribution financials, supply management, logistics, assembly and services, demand management and supply-chain integration. IBS has also debuted two additional tools for distribution intelligence: Advanced Sales and Operations Planning, and Rapid Performance Management from Symphony Technologies. The company's new IBS AppExchange helps users to take advantage of commonly used applications across multiple release levels.
