Qualcomm Inc. has relaunched its Qualcomm Enterprise Services public website along with a new customer portal, which will be available with the commercial release in early 2012 of the lower-priced mobile computing platform known as the MCP50. Both portals feature intuitive layouts for improving the user experience. The revamped public site highlights Qualcomm's products, in addition to offering a Safety Knowledge Center as an education resource for truck fleets. It will provide information on electronic onboard recording systems, compliance and safety. The new customer portal will include enhancements to users' operational transactions, while offering expanded self-service options. In another company announcement, Qualcomm has entered into a distribution agreement with Pana-Pacific, a preferred supplier and engineering partner to the commercial vehicle market. Under the deal, Pana-Pacific will market and resell Qualcomm's mobile computing platform products and fleet-management tools to the transportation and logistics market. The agreement includes the MCP50.
