Rosslyn Analytics has joined with Trucost to launch a self-service application for sustainable procurement. Rosslyn is a vendor of business intelligence software. Trucost helps companies, investors and governments to quantify the environmental impacts of business activities. Providing one-click access to critical sustainability and business intelligence, the new tool enables procurement, supply-chain and corporate social responsibility departments to calculate and manage the carbon and water footprint of every supplier in their supply chains, in a matter of seconds. The Trucost app runs on Rosslyn's Web-based RA.Pid data management and reporting platform, providing business users with a centralized view of all supplier-centric spend data. Accessible from Rosslyn's enterprise app store, the software provides visibility of the highest water usage and carbon emissions by supplier, spend category and region across the user's supply chain. The app then automatically assigns a risk rating according to regional factors that could impact corporate profits or continuity of supply. The Trucost sustainable procurement app costs $650 per month and includes one license to RA.Pid for Excel, one of three packaged spend-analysis services provided by Rosslyn.
