Agistix, a provider of transportation-management applications, has launched Total Visibility, a tool to provide real-time tracking capability to shippers. The packaged technology layer was designed to eliminate blindspots of inbound, third-party and international shipment data. The app is placed alongside every system that contains shipment data, including the transportation-management system, extending access to all supply-chain partners. It offers drill-down detail on each shipment, with no manual effort required to aggregate the data, according to Agistix. It also generates automatic alerts, so that users can proactively take steps to keep shipments moving, and notify recipients of any delays. Total Visibility is offered under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
