Management Dynamics, a vendor of global trade management applications, has changed its name to Amber Road. The vendor offer a single, on-demand platform for the automation and streamlining of global trade. Delivered under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, its suite of products includes 14 applications addressing global trade management, import/export compliance, supplier management, supply-chain visibility and content management covering trade regulations and tariffs for more than 120 countries. According to Amber Road, the new name "evokes images of trade throughout history and more accurately embodies the nature of the company's business."
