Wireless Matrix Corp., a provider of truck fleet-tracking services utilizing global positioning system (GPS) technology, has released version 7.0 of its FleetOutlook application. The update features the debut of Mobile Supervisor, a mobile app for the iPhone and iPad, and FleetOutlook Express, a tracking tool for small and medium-sized businesses. Enhancements in version 7.0 include better scalability for companies using fleet data to increase the visibility and productivity of mobile workforces. Mobile Supervisor provides multiple features on mobile devices, including real-time GPS tracking vehicle status, color-coded fleets and the ability to see drivers' present and past locations. Users can also deploy the software to search for a vehicle nearest to another vehicle, address or location. The application is available free of charge to FleetOutlook customers through the Apple App Store or iTunes. Wireless Matrix has also upgraded its existing TechConnect and TechDirect offerings for messaging and visibility.
